Thank you to everyone for their efforts with the homework over the last two terms. The standard has been very high and feedback has been extremely positive.
We just wanted to remind everyone to be as creative as possible when supporting their child with the tasks. The most enjoyable and fun examples have come when the children have made the tasks their own, interpreting the brief to their own interests. The aim of the homework is always for the children to take their learning home, communicating and sharing their ideas and enthusiasm for a topic with parents and carers.
We would like to share a few examples with you from across the school, to hopefully give you some inspiration. (And ‘well done’ to the children whose work was chosen for display – it was a VERY hard task to choose only a few!)
Regular Homework Tasks
Alongside the above please hear your child read and read to them on a regular, frequent, basis – ideally every evening.
If you want your children to be intelligent read them fairy tales – Albert Einstein
And finally – phonics/spellings/times tables and individual tasks to support learning – please!
Thank you so much for your support
