Children at Garboldisham are on a quest of self discovery. They will thrive on their educational journey to become kind and compassionate thinkers, knowledgeable role models for their community and the world.
What does it mean to be a member of our Christian school?
At Garboldisham we aim for everyone to shine out as a beacon of light into the community and beyond. Within a spirit of kindness and reconciliation we aspire for our children to become critical thinkers, sharing their knowledge and gifts to create hope for a brighter future. They will grow and develop wisdom, demonstrating the resilience to learn – from others and their own mistakes. They will leap forward, living life in all of its fullness.
‘Shine as a beacon of light’ Matthew 5:14
Our community is built upon core Christian values
Community – Heart of the community, partnership, inclusive, friendship, church, relationships, charity.
Kindness – It doesn’t matter what someone else does to you. Love them. Be kind anyway. Develop a spirit of kindness deep within your heart.
Reconciliation – The action of making one view or belief compatible with another.
Resilience – We don’t give up on ourselves or others, persevere and keep on trying no matter how hard it may be.
Hope – We are hopeful that we can contribute to a better future.
Wisdom – Use the knowledge that you gain to make good decisions that benefit all. Listen and learn from others, and from your mistakes.
